Website visit logs
Our website currently does not log any visits to the pages - although this may change in the future. The logs would be seen by the webmaster, who is a member of the group, and overall results may be shared with the ROG Committee.

If we do enable the logging of visits it collect standard information such as:

  • IP address
  • Browser Type
  • Referring URL
  • Which pages on our site you visited

We will use those logs to check for errors on our website (e.g. 'page not found'), making sure the website can be viewed correctly by all versions of browsers used, seeing which other sites have links on to our website and to see which pages Search Engine robots are interested in.
